SMS Server 4 GSM Modem - Installation Guide

- First of all confirm that J2RE 1.4.1 (Java Runtime Environment) or its higher version installed on your computer or not.
- If j2re is not installed on your machine, download it from any below links
- After Installing Java Runtime Environment you need to set path for application
Directions for XP/2000/ME users:
--> Path setting procedure
- Click on the Start menu button
- Right click on "My Computer"
- Click on Properties
- Click on the Advanced tab
- Click on the "Environment Variables" button near the bottom
- A dialog box comes up with two boxes: In the bottom box, look for "Path" and highlight that line. Then click on "Edit"
- A small dialog box appears. In the second text field for the value, at the END of the line, add a semicolon then the path to where your java.exe file is. To determine this, you can use the Search program in Windows and search for "java.exe". It should then show you the full path of where it is. A hint, is that the path should end with "bin". so, at the end of the text field, add something like: ;C:\Program Files\Java\j2re1.4.1_02\bin OR C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.5.0_04\bin *
- Click "OK"
- Now Download and install Bonrix SMS Manager & Bonrix SMS Server 4 GSM Modem from site.
- After installing Bonrix SMS Server 4 GSM Modem you will find one GsmModemJar directory on this location, c:\bonrix\
- Now Copy "Comm.jar" file from C:\bonrix\GsmModemJar and Paste it into "C:\Program Files\Java\j2re1.4.1_02\lib\ext" OR "C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.5.0_04\lib\ext" *
- Now Copy "javax.comm.properties" file from C:\bonrix\GsmModemJar and Paste it into "C:\Program Files\Java\j2re1.4.1_02\lib" OR "C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.5.0_04\bin" *
- Now Copy "Win32com.dll" file from C:\bonrix\GsmModemJar and Paste it into "C:\Program Files\Java\j2re1.4.1_02\bin" OR "C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.5.0_04\bin" *
- After completing above steps now you can start sending sms through Bonrix SMS Server 4 GSM Modem.
