Bonrix - SMS System - User Guide

Bonrix SMS Server 4 Nokia CDMA is robust and easy-to-use software that will enable your desktop or web based applications for 2-way SMS. It can be used with any Nokia CDMA or mobile phone handset connected to the PC using a USB data cable or Infrared device etc.

Support and Compatibility:

Only text messages are being supported. Ring tones sms, Logo sms, Vcard sms, Picture/Wallpapers sms, Polyphonic Ring tones sms, mms notification sms, Unicode sms, OTA sms (WAP push sms/bookmark sms/service indication sms/GPRS setting sms) are currently not supported by Bonrix SMS Server 4 Nokia CDMA. Supprts for above types of sms will be provided in future.
Bonrix SMS Server 4 Nokia CDMA is only compatible with few Nokia CDMA mobile hansets . It supports only 128 characters high speed text sms only. This software doesn’t required Internet Access to send sms. Next version of Bonrix SMS Server 4 Nokia CDMA will also support more type if transport channel like sms through internet(Internet sms gateway) using SMPP protocols (SMSC API or HTTP API).

	SMS notification (delivery report) is not-supported.
	Multipart SMS is not supported

Application of Bonrix SMS Server 4 Nokia CDMA:

Group/Bulk SMS System:

Group/Bulk SMS System can be used for sending bulk sms. List of recipients mobile numbers can be provided either in excel(CSV) or text file. Once the list and a sms is provided to software, it would send sms one by one through software via GSM mode. Per sms charge is applicable according to SIM card. And throughput of 10-20 sms per min. is easily achievable. To achieve more throughputs more then one Nokia CDMA/Terminal can be connected with this software system. Additionally with this software system, phone book management, template management and address management facility is also included.

Two-way SMS System:

Two-way SMS System supports both incoming as well as outgoing of sms(sending and receiving of sms). Thus open opportunity of variety for software based on 2-way sms like sms Auto responder and sms based chatting/messenger. Different types of customized 2-way application can also be developed from this system like sms based polling quiz and contest.

Bonrix SMS Server 4 Nokia CDMA + Bonrix SMS Auto Reply Manager	To send reply automatically from predefined and customizable question and answer. Thus sms auto responder facility can be provided.
Bonrix SMS Server 4 Nokia CDMA + Bonrix SMS Messenger Desktop	In addition to send Bulk/Group sms. This 2-way sms system can be used for Chatting/messaging through sms.
Bonrix SMS Server 4 Nokia CDMA + Bonrix Incoming SMS Reporting	To save received sms for logging purpose and to present it as a customized report.

SMS-Alert System:

SMS-Alert System can be used for sending alter to intended mobile recipient on occurrence of any monitor able event. Ex. New email received notification on SMS and Bank transaction notification on sms.

Web SMS System:

Web SMS System is a web based application for sending single as well as group/bulk sms. Registered users of website can use this web application. Their balance (SMS credit) is managed by admin of web application. Feature like web based phonebook and template is also provided. SMS logs can be maintained for total auditing/monitoring purpose. 2-way messaging is not supported in web application.

Pending user’s sms from website are downloaded by this system and then further passed to local sms gateway (Bonrix SMS Server 4 Nokia CDMA) for sending purpose. 24 hr. Internet Connection Required(Broadband Recommended).

Corporate Intranet Web SMS System:

Corporate Intranet Web SMS System is similar to web based application mentioned above. The difference is that it is designed for local Intranet. So with help of this corporate web sms system, every employee of corporate can be provided with account to send sms. In this case sms are directly routed to local sms gateway so Bonrix webSMS Downloader won’t be required. 2-way messaging is not supported in web application.

Email2sms and Sms2email System:

Email2sms keeps on checking user’s pop3 mail account for a new message and on getting a new message it would download email from pop3 server and convert it into sms format and then send it through local sms gateway. Thus user will get access to email as soon as it reaches to his inbox. In case of Sms2Email system 2-way sms messaging server is used to convert incoming/received sms to Email and then send it to respective email account using available Internet Connection.
