In a retail store, when a bill is generated, the customer should ideally see a QR code for the exact bill amount. Once the payment is completed, the transaction should be automatically reconciled and updated in the billing software with the transaction ID or bank reference ID. Traditional soundboxes usually cannot complete this full billing-to-payment-to-reconciliation cycle.

The Bonrix OMNI Soundbox App Platform can connect with almost any billing software through Local LAN WiFi HTTP API, USB Serial command, or other supported integration methods. When the billing software generates a bill, the exact payment amount can be sent to the OMNI Soundbox device. The device displays the Dynamic QR Code to the customer. After successful payment, the confirmation travels back from the centralized TMS system to the OMNI Soundbox and finally to the billing software. This allows the billing system to update the payment status automatically with transaction details.

Apart from billing software connectivity, the platform also supports multiple direct payment input options. Retailers can send the bill amount or QR payment collection amount through a Bluetooth keyboard, Bluetooth remote control, a billing app, or a payment collection app installed on an Android mobile handset.
